The
Leo children are the most vital and active of all the
types. They are highly strung, domineering and much inclined
to show off. Actually they are often handsome, lovable
children, full of talents. They excel in outdoor sports
and are too intelligent for their age. Naturally if guided
and handled properly, they can turn into very good human
beings. But if the Leo child is left astray, they can
grow up into objectionable adults.
The
Leo child is daring, unflinching, and unafraid and must
be taught to curb his or her exuberance. This child tends
to have too much false pride and may be boastful and snobbish.
Leos need direction since they always want to be at the
head of things; they must be made to realize that others
like to be leaders too.
The
Leo child is philosophical, forceful, and demonstrative.
Because they are assured, Leos demonstrate faith, hope,
and fortitude. This child is apt to be overly energetic
and lavish in expenditure of energy and money when his
or her sympathy or interest is aroused. Leos are usually
popular and even tempered but quick to anger if their
Leo pride is hurt. Leos trust those that believe in them
until they are betrayed or deceived. Leos always aim for
the stars, and with their determination and self-confidence,
Leo children usually get there.
The
Leo child seeks praise, but praise comes to them almost
naturally as a result of their intelligence and their
good work. They readily learn good things of life and
listen to parents or elders when they teach. In fact they
are strongly idealistic and crave instruction; and like
to have an example set for them by someone they idolise.
This
is one child who offers a rich nature of good impulses,
but because of the vast amount of the energy always ebullient
in them, they need very careful handling and guidance.
